NEW ROOF INSTALLATION

Expert New Roof Installation Across Limerick

When your roof has reached the end of its lifespan — or sustained damage beyond repair — a full replacement is the most cost-effective long-term investment you can make in your property. WL Roofing Ltd installs new roofs across Limerick, Tipperary, and Clare, using quality materials suited to the Irish climate. Whether you need a slate re-roof, a complete tile replacement, or a new flat roof system, our experienced team delivers a clean, watertight result with minimal disruption to your home.

WHY CHOOSE US

Why is a quality roof installation essential?

A quality installation protects your home, adds long-term value, and breaks the cycle of patch repairs.

Protects your home from Ireland’s wet climate year-round

Increases property value and kerb appeal

Eliminates ongoing repair costs on an ageing roof

Improves energy efficiency and insulation

SIGNS YOU NEED A NEW ROOF

Our New Roof Installation Process

Identify the warning signs that point to a full replacement rather than another patch repair. If you’re seeing several of these issues, a new roof installation is likely the smarter investment:

Roof age of 20+ years
Widespread missing or cracked tiles/slates
Persistent leaks despite multiple repairs
Sagging or uneven roof deck
Extensive moss, algae, or damp damage
Visible daylight through the roof boards

Every new roof installation begins with a thorough inspection of your existing structure. Our team assesses the decking, fascias, soffits, and existing materials to identify any underlying issues before a single slate or tile goes on. We provide a clear, itemised estimate upfront — no hidden costs, no surprises.

We work with a range of roofing materials including natural slate, concrete and clay tiles, and modern flat roof membranes. Our team advises on the best option for your property type, budget, and long-term performance expectations. All installations are carried out to Irish Building Regulations standards, with full clean-up on completion.

WL Roofing serves homeowners and property managers across Limerick city and county, Tipperary, and Clare. We’re fully licensed and insured, and all our work comes with a satisfaction guarantee. Need roofing repairs rather than a full replacement? We cover that too, as well as flat roof installations and more.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are so grateful to William and his fab team for their excellent work on our complicated roof. Once the first slates were off and we inevitably discovered more rot than expected, William was great about explaining to us what options we had, and helping us come to a good decision for the future of our home. Even though the job was ultimately bigger than expected, it was finished efficiently and with minimal disruption to the rest of the house and garden. The team was on the job from 8:30 AM every day and powered through the work, and William was careful to make sure everything progressed according to the agreed plan and any changes or emergent details were clearly communicated, discussed and agreed. Even from the moment I first contacted him about the work, William was both a professional and a gentleman, careful to follow up throughout and let me know the status of when our work could be started, I cannot recommend his company enough.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a bad leek in a small roof extension that needed a complete replacement. William Long had a team on site at 9.00am and they did not stop until the roof was secure, watertight, and tidy. I was asked every so often to view progress which was reassuring.
His price was reasonable also.
Hopefully in 10 years I'll stillbe happy
